The article presents the case of a 27-year-old female patient with idiopathic congenital complete heart block who was referred by her primary care physician for cardiological evaluation. The conduction disturbance was recognized at the age of 6 years and was asymptomatic. The disqualification from pacemaker implantation included detailed history of a patient’s symptoms, echocardiographic assessment of the heart, exercise testing and ECG Holter monitoring. The aid of salbutamol administered orally was also useful.
