Fall-related injuries (FRIs) are increasing among older adults, leading to complications, reduced quality of life, and deaths. Inflatable hip protectors(HPs) offer higher fracture prevention rates, but face acceptance challenges resulting in low adoption. Our study evaluates well-documented compliance parameters on our intelligent inflatable HP. Our human-centered designed inflatable garment prototype, Air-Sequr, may offer unique opportunities in hip fracture prevention.
