Abstract

Anticonvulsant drugs are widely used in the management of epilepsy and other neurological disorders. However, their concomitant use with other medications can lead to significant drug interactions, impacting both efficacy and safety. This article aims to provide a comprehensive overview of common anticonvulsant interactions with other frequently used drugs. It discusses the mechanisms of these interactions, their clinical implications, and strategies for managing them. The article also highlights the importance of monitoring and patient education in minimizing adverse outcomes.
