Abstract

Inflammation is associated with cardiovascular disease (CVD) in people with HIV (PWH). Co-existent rheumatic disease (RD) may exacerbate inflammation and CVD events. We assessed the impact of RD therapies (RDT) on CVD outcomes retrospectively in 3930 veterans with HIV. The primary outcome was first occurrence of a CVD event.
