The effects of high debris content on tight sandstone reservoirs are multifaceted. Pore structure is an important factor controlling reservoir quality. Clarifying the effects of different types of rock debris on reservoirs is necessary to study the pore structure and their control factors of tight sandstones. The Western Sichuan Depression with complex rock components, containing multiple types of rock debris, leads to strong heterogeneity of pore throats, so it is necessary to study the factors controlling the development of different types of pore throats in tight reservoirs. In this paper, the Fourth member of Xujiahe Foramtion(T3x4) is taken as the research object. Based on high-pressure mercury intrusion experiments and the fractal theory, the types of pore throats and their heterogeneity in tight reservoirs were studied, the relationship of fractal dimensions with reservoir physical properties, pore structure, and rock compositions were investigated, and then the controlling factors for the development of different types of pore throats are clarified. The studies show that there are four types of pore throats developed in the T3x4 of the western Sichuan depression, including primary intergranular pore-throats, residual intergranular pore-throats, dissolution pore-throats, and intercrystalline pore-throats, among which the homogeneity of dissolution pore-throats are the best, followed by residual intergranular pore-throats and intercrystalline pore-throats, and the primary intergranular pore-throats the most heterogeneous. Brittle minerals such as quartz and metamorphic debris, as well as early developed films of chlorite and illite mainly control the development of intergranular pore-throats. Potassium feldspar mainly controls the development of dissolution pore-throats, while plastic debris, volcanic debris, and kaolinite play a destructive role for all types of pore-throats. The high-quality reservoirs in the T3x4 are controlled by the development of primary intergranular pore throats and dissolution pore throats, and they are mainly developed in environments with strong hydrodynamic conditions, large rock grain sizes, high content of brittle minerals such as quartz and metamorphic debris, extensive development of chlorite and illite films, and low content of mudstone debris, matrix, and cemented materials. This study is of guiding significance in clarifying the causes of heterogeneity in different types of pore-throat systems in tight sandstones and the formation mechanism of high-quality reservoirs in tight sandstones with high content of debris.

The Songpan-Ganze Orogenic Belt (SGOB) is bounded by the South China, North China, and Qiang-tang blocks and forms the eastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau. The Tiechanghe granite is located at the junction of the southeast margin of the SGOB and the western margin of the Yangtze Block. To elucidate the genetic relationship between the Tiechanghe granite and the surrounding molybdenum deposits in Western Sichuan, in this study, we conducted U-Pb zircon and molybdenite Re-Os isotopic dating. The results indicate that the Tiechanghe granite predominantly consists of monzogranite, with minor occur-rences of syenogranite, while the molybdenum deposits are mainly found in skarn and quartz veins. The laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) U-Pb zircon ages of the Tiechanghe granite range from 162.9±0.7 Ma to 163.4±0.6 Ma, and the zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb age of the pegmatite veins is 164.1±0.9 Ma. These ages are consistent with the weighted average Re-Os age of the Ziershi molybdenite (160.3±1.6 Ma) within the error margins. These findings and previously ob-tained magmatic and metallogenic ages for the region suggest that a magmatic and mineralization event involving granite, molybdenum, tungsten, and copper occurred at around 162–164 Ma in the study area. This discovery broadens the exploration perspective for mineral resources in the Jiulong area of Western Sichuan and the entirety of Western Sichuan.

As one of the typical deposits in Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou Pb-Zn metallogenic province, the Daliangzi Pb-Zn deposit has a close genetic relation with the structural system of “black/fracture zone” formed under the action of NWW-approx. EW strike-slip structures in the metallogenic province, but the mechanism of rock and ore-controlling action of the structural system remains unclear. Based on detailed analysis of tectonite-mineralized alteration lithofacies of R1 “black/fracture zone”, the tectonite-mineralized alteration lithofacies zones can be divided into 4 types in succession outward from the Pb-Zn mineralization center, i.e., ① brecciated and stockwork-like Pb-Zn mineralization-complex breccia facies zone, ② stockwork-like Pb-Zn mineralization-simple breccia and cataclasite facies zone, ③ veined pyrite-sulfide-dolomitic cataclasite facies zone, and ④ fine-veined calcite-black carbonized dolomite facies zone; Cl- and SO42--rich high-temperature oxidizing ore-bearing fluid mixes with reducing fluid in Zone ① while migration and precipitation occur in Zone ④. With the evolution of ore-forming fluid, the homogenization temperature decreases from Zone ① to Zone ④, the salinity increases from Zone ① to Zone ② and then decreases to Zones ③ and ④, and the fluid density has little change on the whole; the contents of Zn, Pb, Cu, Ga, Ge, Cd, Ag, and other metallogenic elements, the Zn/Pb ratio, and the CaO/MgO mole ratio decrease gradually from Zone ① to Zone ④; and REE fractionation, calcilization, silicification, and pyritization enhance gradually from Zone ① to Zone ④. This series of changes are the product of diapirism (cryptoexplosion) of strike-slip structures and “black/fracture zone”, among which the second-order structures (F5, F100, and other faults) derived from NWW-approx. EW striking dextral shear-tension faults F1 and F15 control the brecciated and stockwork-like Pb-Zn mineralized complex breccia facies zones and the stockwork-like Pb-Zn mineralized simple breccia and cataclasite facies zones. Therefore, this paper establishes the zoning mode of tectonite-mineralized alteration lithofacies of “black/fracture zone” and proposes that Zones ① and ② are important prospecting criteria. conclusions.
