Strong motion records from full-scale structures provide the ultimate evidence of how real structures, in situ, respond to earthquakes. The most effective method for visualizing the recorded response is by animation. This paper presents a novel method for visualization of the motion of a building that is densely instrumented with triaxial accelerometers and rotational seismometers. The method is based on one- and two-dimensional biharmonic spline interpolation of the motion between multiple sensors on a floor or along the building height. It is demonstrated on a 50-story skyscraper uniquely instrumented with multiple triaxial accelerometers per floor, approximately at every five floors above ground and at two basement levels, and two borehole arrays measuring the motion of the soil very near the building foundation. The animations provide valuable insight into the three-dimensional structural response, including wave propagation through the structure and the interplay between translations and rotations, which will be useful for testing existing and developing new methods for structural health monitoring of buildings and for the further development of building design codes. Characters are one of the most important elements in composing digital animation. The appear-ance and voice of a character should be designed to express the personality and values of the character. However, it is not easy for animation producers to harmoniously match the appear-ance and voice of a character. Advances in deep learning technology have made it possible to overcome this limitation. To achieve this, firstly, an audio-visual dataset of characters is required. In this study, we construct and verify a Korean audio-visual dataset consisting of frontal face im-ages of various characters and short voice clips. We developed an application that can automati-cally extract the frontal face image and a short voice clip of a character by collecting videos up-loaded to YouTube. Through this, a dataset consisting of a total of 1,522 face images and a total of 7,999 seconds of voice clips was built based on 490 characters. Furthermore, we automatically la-bel characters by gender and age to validate the dataset. The dataset built in this study is expected to be used in various deep learning fields, such as classification, generative adversarial networks, and speech synthesis.

This paper takes the VR animation display of the Ming Xiao Mausoleum General stone statue life as an example to study the advantages of VR animation in the display of material heritage. Combined with literature and pictures, the digital restoration of the Ming Xiao Mausoleum stone statue is carried out in MAYA and Z brush, and the construction of the scene and the output of the final effect are realized in UE4.

Purpose: Only two studies have examined the second-order false belief mentalizing ability of people with Williams syndrome (WS). The exact age in one study that successfully passed the advanced complex mentalizing ability exceeded nine years in chronological age. Another study reported failure to pass second-order false-belief tasks among people with WS at an averagely of 8.56 years in their mental age. This study aimed to examine the nature of the second-order mentalizing ability of people with WS using computerized animations to investigate the possibility of rehabilitation. Methods: Advanced technology of three-dimensional (3D) animation clips was used as an experimental tool. People with WS viewed clips in a quiet room without interruption. After watching each clip, people with WS answered the following questions: character recognition, reality, memory, and second-order false beliefs. Responses from people with WS were recorded and analyzed. Results: The mental passing age of the second-order false-belief task in people with WS in the current study was 7.14 years. People with WS improved their mentalizing ability to the advanced, complex mental states of other people using computerized animation clips. People with WS performed better with 3D animation stimuli than with traditional two-dimensional (2D) stimuli. Conclusion: With 3D animation clips, people with neurodevelopmental disabilities can induce second-order false belief mentalizing abilities, as shown in people with WS.
